Movies For The Cold ~: The Lion King

It’s time for a nostalgic experience, yep that’s right it is time for a Disney classic!!.This year marks the 20th anniversary of ‘The Lion King’ a much loved favorite. It is a movie that people of all ages will definitely enjoy, with lots of catchy tunes that we guarantee will get stuck in your head and not to forget for a strictly limited time Disney presents ‘The lion King’ the musical, as it travels all around Australia. Make sure to get your tickets as they are running out quickly.

The Lion King is about a young Lion prince’s journey to find himself. As a cub Simba experiences a tragic incident which causes him to run away from home. After running far away, Simba comes across Timon a meerkat and Pumbaa a warthog who look after him as he grows up. The three of them live a carefree life under the motto "hakuna matata" ("no worries"). After years have past Simba is then found by one of his childhood friends Nala who tells him of all the horrible circumstances the pride has faced and asks him to come back and take his rightful position as head of the pride, due to the fact his uncle has ruined everything with his dictatorship. At the Pride Lands Simba confronts Scar (his uncle) in an epic battle between good and evil.

This movie is full of suspense and joy, with a rating of G it is a great movie for everyone to fall in love with. I rate this movie a 10/10 as it is a classic which after 20 years still captivates an audience.
